After the installation of the crossed roller bearing is completed, in order to check whether the installation is correct, it is necessary to carry out a running inspection, and the small machine can be rotated by hand to confirm whether the rotation is smooth. Inspection items include sluggish operation caused by foreign objects, scars and indentations, uneven rotation torque caused by poor installation and poor processing of the mounting seat, large torque caused by too small clearance, installation error, sealing friction, etc. . If there is no abnormality, the power operation can be started.

Because large machinery cannot be rotated manually, immediately turn off the power after starting without load, perform inertial operation, check whether there is vibration, sound, whether there is contact between rotating parts, etc., and enter the power operation after confirming that there is no abnormality in the crossed roller bearing.
For power operation, start at low speed with no load and gradually increase the rated operation under the specified conditions. The inspection items during the test run are whether there is abnormal noise, transfer of bearing temperature, leakage of lubricant and discoloration, etc. If any abnormality is found during the test run of the crossed roller bearing, the operation should be stopped immediately, the machinery should be checked, and the bearing should be removed for inspection if necessary.

The temperature inspection of crossed roller bearings is generally inferred from the appearance of the housing. However, it is more accurate to directly measure the temperature of the outer ring of the bearing by using the oil hole. The temperature of the bearing starts to rise gradually, if there is no abnormality, it usually stabilizes after 1 to 2 hours. If the bearing or installation is defective, the bearing temperature will rise sharply, resulting in abnormally high temperature. The reasons are such as too much lubricant, too small bearing clearance, poor installation, excessive friction of the sealing device, etc. In the case of high-speed rotation, wrong selection of the bearing lubrication method is also the cause.
