Dust cap seal:

The suffix is Z. ZZ or 2Z means that both sides are sealed with dust caps. Use environment: ordinary motor, dust-proof working environment. Advantages: low cost, low starting torque, and can be used in high temperature and low temperature conditions. Disadvantages: The sealing gap is large (generally above 0.4mm), and the dust resistance is low.

Non-contact seal:

The suffix RZ-the bearing has a skeleton rubber cover seal on one side (non-contact type)/2RZ-the bearing has a skeleton rubber cover seal on both sides (non-contact type). Advantages: 1. The two sealing lips are not in contact with the bearing, the starting torque is low, and the heat generation is small; 2. The manufacturing accuracy of the sealing ring and the sealing labyrinth groove is low, and the cost is relatively low; 3. Due to the use of the labyrinth Sealed structure, with good dust-proof effect. Disadvantages: The sealing gap is Max 0.2mm, and it has no resistance to dust, muddy water and water vapor.

Low friction contact seal:

Indicated by the designation suffix RSL or RST, have a better sealing effect than non-contact seals, and are made of nitrile rubber (oil and abrasion resistant) reinforced with a steel backbone. It is mostly used for reducer bearings.

Contact seal:

Denoted by the designation suffix RSH, RSH2, RS1 or RS2, made of steel frame reinforcement, typically nitrile but also Viton (designation suffix RS2 or RSH2 available on request)

RS-bearing with skeleton rubber cover seal on one side (contact type)/2RS-bearing with skeleton rubber cover seal on both sides (contact type). Use environment: motors, water pumps, automotive tensioners, etc. Advantages: 1. The main lip is in axial contact with the labyrinth seal groove, and the starting torque and calorific value are slightly increased; 2. Because the main lip is in axial contact and sealed, and the two auxiliary lips are sealed in the radial gap, it has a good dustproof effect . Disadvantages: 1. High requirements on the shape of sealing groove and sealing ring; 2. No waterproof effect.
