Crack defects, cracks in some notches.
Reasons: The impact load of the main engine is too large, and the interference between the spindle and the bearing is large; there are also cracks caused by large peeling friction; poor accuracy during installation; improper use (using a copper hammer, stuck large foreign objects) and friction cracks.
Solution: Check the usage conditions, set appropriate interference and check materials, improve installation and usage methods, and check lubricants to prevent friction cracks.Metal peeling off the raceway surface
Peeling of running surface. After peeling off, the appearance is obviously concave and convex.
Reason: The bearing rolling elements and the inner and outer ring raceway surfaces are subjected to periodic pulsating loads, resulting in periodic changing contact stress. When the number of stress cycles reaches a certain value, fatigue peeling will occur on the rolling elements or the working surfaces of the inner and outer ring raceways.
If the load on the bearing is too large, this fatigue will be exacerbated. In addition, improper installation of bearings and bent shafts can also cause raceway peeling.
Solution: The use conditions and bearing and clearance selection should be re-study, and the machining accuracy, installation method, lubricant and lubrication method of the shaft and bearing box should be checked.
The bearing heats up, changes color, and is burned and unable to rotate.
Reasons: Generally, there is insufficient lubrication, the quality of the lubricating oil does not meet the requirements or has deteriorated, and the bearing assembly is too tight, etc. In addition, the clearance is too small and the load is too large (large preload), resulting in roller deflection.
Solution: Choose the appropriate clearance (or increase the clearance), check the type of lubricant, ensure the injection amount, check the use conditions to prevent positioning errors, and improve the bearing assembly method.
The rivets are loose or broken, and the rolling elements are broken.
Reasons: Excessive moment load, insufficient lubrication, frequent speed changes, large vibration, the bearing is installed in an inclined state, and foreign objects are stuck.
Solution: Check whether the usage conditions and lubrication state are suitable, pay attention to the use of bearings, study whether the selection of the cage is appropriate and whether the rigidity of the bearing box meets the load requirements.
